In a heartfelt display of appreciation for the nation’s veterans, J. Fletcher Creamer & Son recently demonstrated its commitment to supporting those who have served our country. Collaborating with Operation Kindness NJ, Creamer orchestrated a meaningful effort to bring comfort to the residents of the Paramus Memorial Veterans Home.
Creamer’s team distributed donated blankets, taking the time to sit down and engage in conversations with the veterans about their military service. Care was taken to ensure that the correct military-themed blankets were distributed to men and women who served in their respective branches. Along with blankets, J. Fletcher Creamer & Son collected and donated a sizable amount of toiletries for the veterans at Paramus Memorial. Thank you to everyone who made a donation.
Reflecting on the experience, Creamer’s Chris Schubert shared, “It was nice to spend some time with the veterans, thank them for their service to our nation, and let them know we are thinking about them.” The visit lasted almost an hour, providing a genuine and meaningful connection with the veterans.
Scott Vande Vrede, a key figure in Operation Kindness NJ and a Senior Project Engineer at Creamer, initiated this effort as a way to give back to different veteran’s homes around the state. The initiative not only demonstrated Creamer’s commitment to philanthropy but also underscored the importance of recognizing and supporting those who have selflessly dedicated themselves to protecting our country. As Creamer continues to champion causes that make a positive impact, this effort serves as a testament to the company’s dedication to honoring our heroes and contributing to the well-being of our nation’s veterans.
